It was interesting to hear how mrs. ziegler survived through cancer and what she had to go through. i can relate to her because she had faith in god and i put my faith in him when i need to also. im happy that everything is okay now and i think she is very tough for being able to get through all of the treatment.

it was a really sensitive topic for me. when both of my moms parents died of lung cancer, i was too young to understand. now that i am old enough to understand, i havent been faced with the tragedy of cancer in my life. cancer REALLY scares me. and im scard for everyone and anyone you might get it :( i think that she was a very strong woman to have overcome cancer and be so optimistic about it the way that she was. i truley beleive now that healing from diseases like cancer really are dertermined by your attitude and strength of mind. shes an inspiration (:

Listening to Mrs. Ziegler was really great. I think it gave me a better understanding of cancer and what it's like for a person to go through cancer. Even though none of my family has gone through breast cancer, my mom's family history is from skin cancer. The questions she answered for us gave me a point of view of what it's like to have cancer and go through thearpy. I think it's wonderful that she was so open to speaking to us. I hope she gets better soon and the cancer doesn't come back.

I think that she spoke with an amazing amount of strength and thought. I am thankful that she was her to educate us about cancer. She meade me think about all the rude things people do when they know that you have an illness. I hope that because of her telling us how it feels to be looked at and talked about all the time, that no one in our class will be rude to anyone at any time. I would like to thank her for having courage to talk about this with us and to show us good/positive behavior around ill people. We should always have a positive attitude and everything will be fine. She is a huge inspiration and it is nice to know that people can get through these huge problems together and that no one is alone in thier way to good health. She makes me think about the things that we should be greatful for. I can think about the good times instead of the bad times and think about how hard it is to do what she did for us.
~THANKS~

that was pretty cool how she was abel to survive cancer with her positive feelings. the way she wasnt afraid to show and tell people that she had cancer was pretty risky in a way.i can relate to her because she had faith in god. i was suprised to hear how much all the cemotheorpy and raidition cost.I think it gave me a better understanding of cancer and what it's like for a person to go through cancer.

learning about cancer and all the effects it has on a person is something very hard to hear. but many people in my family havr passsed away from cancer and learning about it really cleared many things up. the way mrs. ziegler used her faith as her rock through everything she went through was very uplifting and if i was ever in that situation i would probably do the same thing. she is a true deffinition of a great inspiration to all!

Even after heaing what she said i dont think that if you have a good aritudetorard cancer you will survive. When my brother wen through a brain yumor from when he was three till 10. He always had a positive atitude but he still passed away after a seven year battle. Tje cancercame back around 5 times after it was treated. Im sure having a good atitude will help you get through cancer but it will not cure it. I am happy it wirked for her. Best of luck on a full recovery to her.

Thanks for coming to our class to talk about cancer. It helped me a lot because my grandma had cancer and it was treated but then came back. I didn't want to ask her some questions but you helped me better understand. my parents wouldn't tell me some things because i think they thought I'd be scared but you helped! Thanks so much!

I found that video very interesting. Sadly I was not there for the whole thing. But this video has informed me that cancer is really really bad. I'm gald that she is fine now and that she can get on with her life.

Yesterday when Mrs. Ziegler came in to talk about her survial of breast cancer was very interesting to learn about. I learned a lot about what to do when youre in a situation with cancer or dealing with someone who has cancer.

She said her cancer didn't hurt that she didnt even know it. Before she could go for kemo she got a metacord put in her because kemotherapy drugs are toxic. If they get out of your system they eat bones, tissue, and skin.

I thought that this video was a help to understand wat the drugs are that you recieve when you have cancer. It was interseting about the resevoir and what it does. She also explained about the pain and the procedure and how it helped her.

I did not know that some cancers can hurt and some cannot.I also did not know that when you get the treatment it also can hurt. She is a very strong person for telling us about her cancer.

I think that Mrs. Ziegler was really brave to have to go through that experience and still come out of that alive and well. I think it was a great thing for her to talk about her experience with other people.

When I heard this lady talk about how she survived cancer, it amazed me to know that someone could be so strong to get through cancer treatment and make it out alive. Although she went through a lot to make it through cancer, I give her a lot of credit for pushing herself and being so tough. As I listened to her speak about this topic, I became very thoughtful about it because both of my dad's parents died from this disease, and I realized how much cancer really does scare me and how its possible for anybody to get it, but after listening to her, I know if anyone close to me were to get it, I know that it's possible for them to make it out alive. Just by being strong, you could fight off the disease.

I thought that it was intersting to here about the way she survived the cancer. i thought i was a great thing because she took time to explain what she went through. im glad that she's okay and that she is still here.

i thought it was wierd that she didnt know she had it and that she didnt have any pain but her father had cancer too but it was a different cancer that made his bones hurt.

I thought it was interesting how Mrs. Ziegler talked cancer and her experence through it. Cancer is a very big deal for me. People that i was close to, have died from cancer. Also, everyday me and my family live through cancer, my grandmother has cancer for the second time. I never knew exactly how they treated cancer, all i knew was they used drugs.

i found the video intersesting. but mrsziegler passing cancer is way more iteresting. i think she is very tough to be able to go through all of the treatments. watching this video gave me a better understanding on what people with cancer have to go through and the worst part is that not every passes cancer like she did so she is very luckyy!!

I really appreciated the talk Mrs. Zeigler gave. It was somewhat inspiring and sad, even though I learned a lot. It just proves how much faith you need to pull through.

i think the movie clip was very interesting to see the reactions to how people take cancer and the causes.it was also interesting to hear her own story and how they insert meds through a diiferent type of iv.

I'm glad I had the chance to come into your classes to talk and wanted you all to know how great you made me feel. Your questions were excellent, very insightful. I hope I've helped you understand cancer even just a little. I'm in the LMC if you have other questions. Thank you for the opportunity to "give back". Mrs. Z
